  1. Rick Smith (GM) told Patrick Ramsey before he signed with Denver, that he had to battle Sage Rosenfels for the starting position. He didn't even mention Carr's name. I think, Culpepper, or Trent Green will be a great addition to the Texans roster. I'm also hearing that Jake Plummer is still in the running.
  2. I'm gald he signed somewhere else. Patrick's resume didn't look so hot to me. Now here's the deal. The Texans still have a chance getting a vertern quarterback. "The Kansas City Chiefs said that while they continue to talk with QB Trent Green about restructuring his contract and remaining with the team, he will be allowed to "explore other potential opportunities in the National Football League" before making his final decision." The Dolphins want Trent Green, and could seen Dante Culpepper packing. The Texans could grab Culpepper, or even Joey Harrington?
  3. If they do build a soccer stadium in downtown. How many seats would it be? 21,000- 25,000?
  4. Who the hell is this Partick Ramsey guy? He was the former QB at Redskins and Jets. The Texans is showing strong intrested on signing him to be a backup QB. Anyone knows about this guy?
  5. Did y'all hear what Kubiak said on Channel 13 yesterday? In the interview he mention about Patrick Ramsey QB (Jets) coming to Houston, and he will go up against our starter Sage Rosenfels. Kubiak mention nothing about Carr. Something is up! The Dolphins released Joey Harrington, and Trent Green might receive his walking papers soon. Furthermore, the Dolphins are looking to pick up Trent Green and if they do succeed, Dante Culpepper might be headed out.
  6. I agree, Htown. Nothing really excites me as far as retail. Hopefully they add more big name tenants.
  7. Yes, I just found out. Dang! Everybody is signing and Texans haven't begun signing free agents. Looks like another banged up season for the Texans! 49ers might do some good this season. They're signing some good players. Watch out for them this season.
  8. Houston Texans have had discussions with free agent RB Travis Henry (Titans).
  9. Jeff Gracia and Jake Plummer is off the market. Tampa Bay signed Gracia today! So, I'm guessing David Carr will remain a Texan.
  10. Texans also thinking about cutting Dominick Williams (Davis).
  11. Texans is looking to pick up QB Jeff Gracia, WR Ashley Leele and RB Chris Brown.
  12. Pat Yasinskas, of the Charlotte Observer, reports Carolina Panthers QB Jake Delhomme restructured his contract to open $4 million in salary cap space. So, Delhomme stays!
  13. Texans just waived defensive tackle Seth Payne, receiver Eric Moulds and offensive tackle Zach Wiegert.
  14. What a suck-ass tenants! I thought they would do better then that. Book-A-Million sucks! I would rather Barnes and Noble, or a Borders. They should at lease add a 10 screen theater, at lease that! Only good tenants are Lucky Strike and House of Blues. I'm kinda disappointed.
  15. OH MY GOD! I really think this is the tenants for Houston Pavilions, at lease I hope it is. I've checked Denver Pavilions web site. They don't have a 20-30 screen theater, it's only 15 screens. I'm guessing they decided to built a Multi-Use Cinema Complex to make up for the residental. So, pretty much this is a dream come true for downtown Houston! KEY TENANTS... 16. I was thinking to myself that some of these franchises can't wait to spend their money on this year's free agents, but they better be careful. There are sinkholes out there waiting to devour the unsuspecting. Just because a veteran was productive with one team doesn't necessarily guarantee he will be productive with another. Look at the Cardinals last year, they paid megabucks for Edgerrin James and still wound up with the league's 30th-ranked rushing game. The Texans just need guys that can help the team out, and not no so-called big name free agent paying megabucks too then devour later on in the season. The best free agents aren't biggest names!
  17. That's right! Delhomme took the Panthers to the Super Bowl right here in Houston. But, do you think Panthers would trade Delhomme for Carr? Hmmm, to me. I don't think so.
  18. That's great for Carr! But, the big question is. What type of players the Vikings, Panthers, Raiders and Bucs have to give the Texans?
  19. Smith refused to say which teams called and exactly what was discussed. Smith has said throughout the offseason, however, that Carr along with almost every other Texan player, is available. The Texans want to improve the team, and will listen to any requests that other teams have. http://www.nfldraftscout.com/teams/nflteam...t.php?teamid=13
