I (alias Boris) took my nephew (alias Max) to Houston's DT to show him around and took some photos. Max is from Mex. DF:
First, my photos:
Here's Max:
From Wells Fargo, they don't allow photos so we had to sneak these:
Then we walked over to Chase:

Post it here.
And thx for the response.
I thought perhaps I should have asked a question, like, "Can you guess the purpose of this rodeo" to get responses.

Neighbor gave us tickets to the Rodeo today. Here are some pics:

.... the other 98% of it is uncontrolled growth and sprawl filled with walmarts, targets, best buys, home depots, strip centers, outlets, gas stations, walgreens, cookie cutter houses and streets that don't seem to fit together. It left this Houstonian with wonder and awe. Finally, I found an area that put Houston to shame.
However, I was able to find its very small heart, still beating (barely).
And the rock that gave Round Rock its name:
And the DT:

Gotta have a photo of Selena:

And ofcourse, the old Nueces Co. Courthouse. Sadly, it continues to sit there abandoned:

After my last Thursday's hearing, I needed a good buzz so I cruised down Ocean Drive and Shoreline Blvd in CC. Began near CC A&M and finished up at the convention center and Heritage Park.
(Yes I know there's a smudge in every shot. I didn't notice the lens was dirty until I got back to Houston. Also, there are only a few people about because it was mid-morning and presumable the kids were in school [except the skateboarders] and the adults were working [except me]).

Here're some photos from our dog walk this past Saturday. I'm not in any photos since I've got the camera. My son is in the red shirt, and my daughter is in the white shirt. The big guy is my brother-in-law from Austin and his son in the Iron Maiden shirt.
The Dogs: The small white fuzzy dog is Roxy (we just call her "stupid dog" because, she's stupid). The fat white dog is Jewel. She's smart and as you can see has some sort of growth in her eye.
The beagle is Scarlette, Boris' girlfriend. And, of course, there's our dog Boris (my sign in name).
Now for the walk. We were at Hershey Park in West Houston close to our house. Hope you enjoy:
Looks like Boris got a yank:

I wonder if they mean the corner where the firestation and CVS is located?
-
Looks like they're prepping the land for this development. I guess the used car lot at the corner is going to stay.

Excellent work on all the threads.

Cool, looked like a new york bus.

Thx guys. Ricco, not sore at all today. I guess my daily exercising is paying off.
Also, anyone know what this excavation is for? (It's located a couple of blocks east of Main, as you can see, just a couple of blocks directly east of that church.)

While the wife took the kids to the Natural Science Museum, I rode the bike around the park and surrounding area. Hope you enjoy:
