Thx Jax, I was sort of overwhelmed by the amount of people on the streets, I loved it.
Need more residential and retail in DT Houston to get the ball going in this direction.

Thx Moni, it sure did get warmer, in fact, it was downright hot by the time we got to LA.

Photos from Weimar, Texas, about 80 miles West of Houston off of I-10.
The whole time I was taking pictures in this little town, people were staring at me and one lady walked out of her shop and asked what the hell I was doing. So I took my pics quickly and got the hell out of Dodge.

Thx Vertigo, you weren't mistaken, they really were walking by.

No Retama, I haven't checked that out, but I'll certainly will one of these days.
Thx for the tip.

Funny, that's the exact same critizism Houston gets when photos of Houston are posted in SSP or SSC.
But, these were taken a couple of weeks ago when I was driving back from SA, at about 4:00 p.m. during the middle of the week and 100 degrees. Remember guys, these are towns of just 3,000 or so.

Good stuff.
When I saw the title of the thread all I could think of was that 80's ground and the song "final countdown"

Never been to Richmond but I have to visit one of these days. Love all the history of it.
