  1. Houston has so many pockets of entertainment with more coming. Now if they can get some mixed used development near NRG...sorry about going off topic. 😁
  2. Texans co-founder and senior chairperson Janice McNair is making one of the largest donations ever by an NFL owner to a community project. McNair is donating $5.45 million to Pro-Vision Inc in the Sunnyside community. The funds will be utilized to build housing for low-income community members, a football field on the campus and a track facility to be named after the McNair family as well as a multi-purpose building. An urban farm and aquaponics initiative in the community will be tripled in size and is intended to provide healthy food for the campus along with vocational jobs for the community and income selling produce to local businesses. This is great for this community south of Loop 610 and East of 288. https://www.chron.com/sports/texans/article/Texans-Janice-McNair-donating-5-million-Pro-Vision-14299100.php#photo-18065311
  3. Yes, as this location is considered an opportunity zone by the govt.
  4. https://www.houstonchronicle.com/lifestyle/renew-houston/fitness/article/where-is-the-houston-bike-park-bmx-north-largest-14284515.php?t=ceeb9febf9
  5. I think Austin has a a 60 plus story tower in the works but they may get a taller build since they're popping them out of the ground like crazy. Houston lacks a signature tower like some other global cities.
  6. So UT Physicians is moving into this building from 6700 W Loop S. Nice design.
  7. I applaud the owners of Turkey Leg Hut for working with the community on parking issues. Good business usually brings alot of traffic. Word is they are expanding and perhaps build a parking garage.
  8. This tower looks good driving down Fannin from downtown towards Midtown at night. Wish I could have taken a picture. Can't wait for phase 2!
  9. They act like they are going to build low income apartments here. I'm sure the rent for the apartment development will be priced accordingly. 1400.00 and up for one bedroom, 2300.00 and up for 2 bedroom. This is a good location if you don't want to live in the congested Galleria area and not too far from all the entertainment inside the loop.
  10. Correct. I work in the 6330 W Loop S building. This will be about a block from Charlies BBQ. More restaurant options for this area hopefully.
  11. This would be great for residential tower or mid rise apts with GFR since its right on the rail line.
