  1. This office building sure has been quiet. Is it just me, or is this one hell of an impressive little building?! It has major prominence on Westheimer and the combination of the glass and mullions/jewelry look truly remarkable. I love it! Curious if a big tenant will be putting their name on top of this masterpiece. I know times are weird in Houston office leasing, but my gut tells me we'll be seeing an impressive signage opportunity coming to fruition soon.
  2. I am hearing that it is under contract to Alliance Residential
  3. Not an ideal attraction but certainly speaks to the quality and prestige of the area. Will be curious to know what restaurant(s) they will announce in the project. I drove by this yesterday and ti sure seems like it is going up fast. I think they need an awesome boutique hotel on some of the remaining green space - there are really no great hotel options in Houston outside of The Post Oak. The St. Regis down the street is pretty tired.
  4. Looks like they're making progress on the leasing! Compass Real Estate Charles Schwab Stonelake (owner/developer) https://www.houstonchronicle.com/business/bizfeed/article/Stonelake-Capital-office-development-near-River-13788071.php
  5. Have these guys made any leasing announcements, yet? Seems like an incredible location but I bet the rent is pretty high for this area.
  6. According to HCAD, that area looks like it is owned by Centerpoint. Hopefully Stonelake can work some magic with them to get them to clean it up. Agree - it looks awful.
  7. I've seen that one, too. A wooden fence is always nicer. But the one at San Felipe and Voss is not nearly as tall nor does it have graphics displayed like this one. But I agree, it's nice to see some developers investing in the marketing and appearance of a site if even temporary.
  8. That’s the nicest construction fence I think I have ever seen in Houston. Much better than the chain link fences with the raggedy contractor mesh wrapping that is always falling over. Doesn’t look like they’re cutting any corners.
  9. I believe the entire development is now called Park Place | River Oaks and The James (Phase I) and The Ivy (Phase II) are part of the overall project. It's the same developer/investor - Stonelake Capital Partners. Phase III is the 210,000-sf retail/office project fronting Westheimer.
