Oh! Thanks for clarifying that. I am a newbie here and I'm still finding my way around the site. Anyway, I'm glad to see that we are all in agreement on the subject of restaurants and diversity in the heights. 

I'm for 18th and Shepherd too. Having said that, I have never really felt that Houston's lacked diversity of any sort, and I think that its reputation as an ethnic and cultural hub grows stronger each year.
