I sure miss Local Charm.

I may not be the smartest guy around but I've run the Bayou (Brays - Behind the Gus Wortham Golf Course), Harrisburg and Sunset trails end to end. I'd love to see the Bayou trail connect with the Brays Bayou trail at MacGregor Park which runs to Hermann Park and all the way out to West Houston. I think there are plans to connect all the city parks, but who knows when?

How about the Ranch House, a barbecue joint on Telephone Rd. adjacent to Hobby Airport? I was too young to really get a read on the food, but I remember it as being a big place lots of Old West decor.

Anybody know what happened to the big tenty things on the HEB?

The space that has been leased in the new retail building at Gulfgate will be a Payless Shoes. Their paperwork is posted in the window. Ho-hum.
