Museo Institute For The Medical Arts In The Museum District

I hope this 40+ story residential tower breaks our psychological barrier, and we can finally get some more residential towers that can break the 40 floor mark.- 630 replies

i really wish the residential tower had a spire (maybe it could top 500 with one...) houston's really missing out on spires one of the best parts of the new york skyline are the spires and how dynamic they are at night wish houston had some cool spires -

The Post Oak Hotel At Uptown Houston At 1600 West Loop S.
htownboy replied to King Owl's topic in Uptown and Galleria Area
if yall dont mind im going to update the height of this building on skyscraper center (while im at it, im also gonna attempt to update the methodist outpatient care center (which should hate the same tip height as architectural height) also, the skyscraper center has us at 34 completed 150m+ on the page, but when you click on the list, it only displays 33 (ive noticed many of this sort of mistake on this webiste) edit: both submissions were declined i retried and it was rejected again (because apparently ' Emporis is not a reliable source for building heights. ' ) but i did manage to change the status of the market square tower- 590 replies

The Galleria Mall At 5085 Westheimer Rd.
htownboy replied to TreaderCRC's topic in Uptown and Galleria Area
WHOAAA i just realized that the building seen next to the ritz is the westin galleria, not the westin oaks (which i had previously believed it was) but the thing is, the westin galleria is much taller than the westin oaks, meaning that my previous guess of around 500ft for this tower could be bumped up much higher the height of the westin galleria is - 319ft (according to emporis) - 258ft (according to skyscrapercenter) and the height of the westin oaks is - 279ft (according to emporis) - 222 ft (according to skyscrapercenter) so using this 319ft figure, we can try to estimate the height or a 258ft figure (if you prefer) but it seems as if we have a 150m+ building! (but the ceilings are realllyyy high, but it is a ritz, and i shouldnt be complaining, should i? ) i just dont get the height discrepancy between the sources though (i had previously used the 222ft figure and arrived at a ~500ft figure) am i a good detective? -

i believe that white tower to the right of the hotel in the first rendering is around 210 feet, and using that i came to the conclusion that the hotel could possible reach 500ft. can anybody confirm this?? sorry if this post sounds rather stupid, im a new user and this is my first post edit: obviously the parts of the building higher up are distorted to appear taller so my height estimation could be off by quite a bit.
