    Wait for astroworld to be cleared out...

    Anyone remember near almeda mall it wasn't that long ago they had a SKI hill and tranformed it into a haunted house for a few halloweens, the land has since been cleared, it is/was located near the new Wal mart near almeda mall.

    On my way home from work today i saw a pink "ROLLER DERBY" sign near culled/MLK it was an advert for a roller skaiting place.

    Anyone remember Electric park in galveston? Any info on it? i heard they had a good wooden coaster.

    Any one remember Almeda Skating Rink, It's still operating but it appears not for much longer as the building is going to be sold. The rink is near Almeda mall and 45.

    I went somewere near downtown, i can't remember where exactly though. I'm only 21!

    Yep too sad to see it go away. So many memories. Hey someone mentioned the "Globe" store i went to one in 95'is are they still around?
