  1. Cool info. The Hobby lobby is a weird one on the inside.(Though most are reused kmarts/bs or other defunct retailers)
  2. I'm not 100% certain...But the Hobby lobby next to lowes, looks like an old Builders square. If you drive around the back you can even see the old blue/red cheatline. The inside looks like a BS as well. What was next to it? Maybe it didn't get demo'd
  3. I'd really wish we'd stop trying to compare every theme park opening to AW. It's been gone for 10 years. It was built on years and years of love/memories and stuff we hold dear to it.
  4. That was always something that stood out for me about kmart. You can often spot a reused Kmart location with them.
  5. I have recently been in a few old kmarts, one a "Zodys" that closed and kmart took over another in Burbank CA...tons of business, lines long...the stores look like they never left 1980.
  6. That doesn't mean a thing...Astroworld Site had "actual plans" too...
  7. LOL "devaluation?" Are you basing that on the article headline you read? With atleast 3000 points depending on fare/notice you can buy a one way ticket. You can't get anything on united other than stupid magazine subscriptions with anything less than 50+k points.
  8. People complain about paying $79 between Hou-Dal... LOL
  9. I would as a Flight Attendant rather see Known Crew Member at Hobby...
  10. No, The main hospital a fence was put up and a dumpster was added. I think they will demolish it. The city owned the place behind whataburger and the one behind cvs is still open.
  11. The old Memorial Hospital has a fence and sign that says "New Retail coming soon" across the st. Maybe a sign of progress? An Annas linens is opening next to Office Depot.
  12. They stated what they are for...They are not putting them in neighborhoods. People need to quit being paranoid. 1 in 6 billon i doubt anyone sits and watches one person move from one area to another.
  13. The building is still there. It's now called "9ers" and they sell burgers and fries.
  14. If you haven't gone...I suggest you go. I have a membership. I go 2-3 times a week (to exercise and see the animals)I went to the LA zoo and they had "BANK OF AMERICA" and numerous other sponsors around most displays(Yes, it's more expensive than ours.) Their are expenses...People think that they shouldn't pay for anything.
  15. I found a CO price last year 2 months in advance to LA for 900 bucks. I booked with southwest for 224 round trip. I have a trip Tuesday for the same price. You must be looking at "business" class. 440 with tax for 2 non stop round trip tickets.
  16. I remember last year there was a billboard that read "Full meals on flights...Other airlines are just plane NUTS!" Poking fun at Southwest...haha! who is laughing now?
  17. Pretty odd flight path for 12R normally they will swing (if coming from north) near Transco and align that way. The past 2 times from BWI/IAD we pulled that way.
  18. A couple of thousand? i had a kidney stone( i thought my appendix had burst) my over all bill before my insurance was 15,000 for an MRI and toradol for emergency room. I think i paid $300 bucks total(after insurance adjustments). My dr advised me to call him and go to a smaller ER from now on.
  19. Confused @ new layout!

  20. I tend not to call the freeways by there names. Too many people ask "Where is...?" Where i work. They always happen to "Not be from the area." When i was in LA, I got confused hearing "The San Diego Freeway,"
  21. yeah, cvs had only the small hand sanis. I helped some people from Mexico city yesterday i scrubbed my hands with alcohol and soap. luckily i'm loaded on the instant hand wipes. You wouldn't believe what people do. (i work retail) they cough don't cover there mouths, sneeze pick there nose and want to touch you.
  22. What pearland are you talking about? The one on main or the one on 288? The wal-mart is main is always pretty empty. I don't know how they can support a supercenter. The one in Pasadena are getting cheap and dimming/turning off the lighting. I don't like that. Just to save what 15 bucks an hour shutting of fluorescent lights.
  23. until
The San Jacinto Day Foundation, Inc. is a 501
  24. You think that was bad...I saw it come down from 610...I stopped and taped it.
