    I went to My Pie around 2:30pm. Waited inline about 1 hour with friends so it wasn't too bad. Pizza is good. I would definitely consider this place if I lived in the area.

    I'll second this. This is my new go to place if I want to grab a beer. I like the chiller vibe compared to the typical Midtown places and It's also walking distance from my place.

    Great shot of the southside of Midtown! Can't wait for more density to come to this part of Midtown.

    Can't forget about the homeless people that lay in front of the Metro rail kiosks and ask for money.

    The greyhound station area is horrible. I would routinely go out of my way to 'rescue' wayward travelers that had long layovers at the bus station.

    So the first thing I noticed was the change from condos to apartments. Why the change? I think the condos would have added a nice mix to the area. If the numbers hold that's over 1000 apartment units in 5 blocks. 3800 (320 units), 3600 (363 units), 3300 (336 units).

    I live within walking distance to both beer gardens. I can't wait for this area to be renamed the BGD(Beer Garden District).

    Maybe SWA could work with METRO and chip in on light rail terminal at Hobby. Then they could promote themselves as servicing the only airport in the Houston area with rail access to downtown.

    What do you think about the lighting on 3737 buffalo speedway? It's kinda on the bright side but it's no the typical trim on the roofline.

    I agree that Houston could use some help in this area. Great accent lighting makes for a more distinctive and memorable downtown views at night.
