  2. Here's some updated pictures as of yesterday (12/15). attachment=7461:IMG_5893.JPG]
  3. 3930 and 3910 Kirby Dr hit the demo permits today. Here's the old Colliers listing for the $25M 4.128 Ac plot http://har3.commgate.com/photos/pdf/fs/217585_1.pdf
  4. Do we know what that rooftop terrace / floor on top of the parking garage, facing downtown, is going to be? I looked through the renders and couldn't see it drawn up anywhere. This would be cool if it's going to be a bar / restaurant.
  5. http://www.houstonchronicle.com/local/education/campus-chronicles/article/Is-UT-s-Houston-land-grab-illegal-6646162.php Interesting, that when the news first broke, this was the headline:

  7. Which is exactly the reason micro-units would be a lot more desirable in such a location.
  8. A little drive by photography of some glass going up.
  9. The additional two towers are on hold, for now... http://www.bizjournals.com/houston/blog/breaking-ground/2015/11/after-galleria-area-tower-sells-phase-two-on-hold.html

  12. http://www.bizjournals.com/houston/morning_call/2015/11/exclusive-new-details-revealed-for-first-micro.html $400-$535 / sqft, plus HOA fees.... no thank you, not for me.
  13. Please excuse the crappy rush-hour, out-the-window, drive-by picture, but here's the progress as of yesterday. At least you can get a good view of that corner they had to notch, just for that billboard to exist.
  14. I still don't get it... East of downtown, desirable, sure... but mostly due to it's affordability and proximity to downtown. This project would make a lot more sense in uptown, downtown, med-center, etc. places that aren't quite affordable to their target demographic.
  15. This one should start going north soon. It looks like they just delivered the first section of crane mast.
  16. This one is topped out now. http://blog.chron.com/primeproperty/2015/10/skanska-tops-out-new-energy-corridor-office-building/
  17. Great news guys, They moved two of the port-o-potties across the site for MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY. Oh, and it looks like the foundation is coming along too...
  18. Slightly off topic, though something I think is interesting... While viewing the site on google's most recent street view, the smoke from Axis apartment fire last March can be seen from Ashby street. the street name, ASHby, coupled with the smoke in street view and the angry NIMBYs is a pretty ominous sign.
