Based on the location that's starred in the article's photo, it's possible St. Regis Residences is one of the two multifamily residential developments discussed in this topic:
https://www.houstonarchitecture.com/haif/topic/154-two-30-story-multifamily-high-rises-on-memorial-dr-at-buffalo-bayou/That is correct. US Living and Satya will be developing this parcel.

Dirt and site work will last about 10 months. Nothing solid planned yet but currently kicking around the idea of a mid-rise multifamily on the west side of the lot and possibly bringing in another developer for the east side.

Parcel 1, 3, and 4 have been awarded to Hoar Construction. Not sure if Parcel 2 has been awarded but Tellepsen is working on budgeting it.

The general contractor, Hoar Construction, pulled off of the project due to not being paid by the developer.

Mission Constructors is one of Houston's famed construction companies founded in 1978. They have done a lot of projects in the Houston area, but one of the projects that stands out is the Museo Plaza on Fannin Street.
I wonder when the 60 year old building at 3818 Buffalo Speedway will be demolished? The current tenant is Mission Constructors. They actually might own the building? I often drive by and think of it as being out of place and surrounded by high rises.

Apologies for such a late reply, but I was just browsing old post and thought I would comment on this!
The brothers, Glenn and Don Woo, own Mission and also own this land. Such great people!

Rice University Campus Developments
in Going Up!

Tellepsen, who has been working on this project for over a year now, was recently notified by the university that they were going to put the project out on the street to bid. Proposals were recently submitted by multiple general contractors and the project has not yet been awarded at the moment.
