  1. Tellepsen, who has been working on this project for over a year now, was recently notified by the university that they were going to put the project out on the street to bid. Proposals were recently submitted by multiple general contractors and the project has not yet been awarded at the moment.

PROJECT: Rice University New Residential Colleges 12 & 13 ARCHITECT OF RECORD: Kirksey DESIGN ARCHITECT: Henning Larsen INFORMATION: Rice Colleges 12 and 13 (along with the adjoining servery) is located south of the John and Anne Grove at the south colleges precinct, between the existing New Sid Richardson College and Wiess College residential buildings. The area includes the existing Old Sid Richardson Tower and Commons as well as the site of the Wilson House.
  3. That is correct. US Living and Satya will be developing this parcel.
  4. Dirt and site work will last about 10 months. Nothing solid planned yet but currently kicking around the idea of a mid-rise multifamily on the west side of the lot and possibly bringing in another developer for the east side.

Architect: Perkins&Will General Contractor: Austin Commercial Information: The Clinical Services Building (CSB) comprises a major addition to the existing UT MD Anderson Cancer Center campus at Texas Medical Center (TMC), in Houston, Texas. It will occupy the former “Dental School” site, at the northeast corner of the TMC hospital campus, that is readied for construction. The project is to include approximately 757,000 gross square feet of new construction. The project constitutes an initial phase of a multi-phase expansion of inpatient services on the main hospital campus, and it is being designed to support the ultimate growth up to an approximate 1,200 inpatient bed campus. It is anticipated that the CSB Project will include a basement and eleven stories of new construction to house selected campus clinical services departments.
  9. Parcel 1, 3, and 4 have been awarded to Hoar Construction. Not sure if Parcel 2 has been awarded but Tellepsen is working on budgeting it.
  10. The general contractor, Hoar Construction, pulled off of the project due to not being paid by the developer.
  11. PROJECT: Shepherd Mixed-Use LOCATION: NW corner of North Shepherd Drive and W. 26th Street DEVELOPER: Pontikes Development, LLC ARCHITECT: Powers Brown Architecture GENERAL CONTRACTOR: Satterfield & Pontikes INFORMATION: 10-story building with a footprint area of approximately 126,000 SF.
  12. Construction services are currently being sought for civil work related to the proposed abandonment of Rosalie Street between Louisiana and Milam. I don't know what the plans are for the future development yet.
  13. PROJECT: MD Anderson South Campus Biosciences Research Facility ADDRESS: 7510 Bertner Ave. Houston, TX 77054 ARCHITECT: Perkins & Will Construction is set to begin the 1st quarter of 2025.
  14. Hello everyone. This project, the Parcel 1 phase, will break ground before the end of the year (likely within the next couple months). TW is currently finalizing contracts with a general contractor.
  15. Apologies for such a late reply, but I was just browsing old post and thought I would comment on this! The brothers, Glenn and Don Woo, own Mission and also own this land. Such great people!
