  1. On page 7 of the proposal form it shows "Owner's Expected Substantial Completion Date". The date listed is 05.15.17. It doesn't appear to be for the "Big Game".
  2. http://www.chron.com/houston/article/Workers-trapped-as-scaffolding-collapses-downtown-6574175.php
  3. Lifting the 'steel cage' into place. This shot was taken about 1:20 PM in August. Note how much of ADLA the new shade structure is covering. Basically all of the 'pedestrian' side of it. This should be a very walkable area after completion.
  4. It is a little difficult to tell from this perspective, but the level they are adding now is a higher ceiling than the previous floors. It looks like they are close to topping this out. Also, the north tower (the one they are still working on) is being done differently than the previous floors. This might be the roof for the north tower.
  5. Making lots of progress here. You can really see the shape of the two hotel structures from this angle. Based on past weeks, they will be pouring the 'brown'/south part of the floor around Wednesday. By early next week, they will have the next floor on the north part ready to pour. It is taking just a little more than two weeks for each floor right now.
  6. Taking down the roof. They put up scaffolding and then a screen around the building. They were hauling away interior debris last week and then started on the roof.
  7. I saw them doing some soil testing in the adjacent parking lot a couple of days last week. Maybe they will be starting on the parking garage soon also.
  8. View from Hess Tower. It looks like they have poured the pool. I managed to catch a shot of the train coming down Capital also.
  9. Major advancement today. They brought in some equipment this morning and parked it right in the middle of the block. And a Port-A-Potty so its got that going for it.
  10. They have moved some equipment on site and started digging asphalt around the perimeter of the block.
  11. They started puttingfencing around the block this afternoon.
  12. From Hess Tower. Sorry for the window glare on this one. Pouring more concrete. Looks like pieces for a red boom crane.
  13. Taken from Hess Tower.Lots of concrete pours. Still a lot to go. The black strip in the road in the lower rigt corner is the repair of the street where they fixed the light rail. The asphalt was poured yesterday and they opened that lane up to traffic today. The construction in the pper left corner is the new GRB garage.
