  1. I believe he meant to say 9 existing built in the CBD since 2008 and 2 U/C which the combined total is 6 million SF. In order of size and rounding size: 1. Block 58 (former Chron site) 1.1 million SF U/C 2. 609 Main 1.1 million SF 3. 811 Main (formally BG Group Place) 972,500 SF 4. Hess Tower 845,000 SF 5. Capitol Tower 778,300 SF U/C 6. Hilcorp Energy Tower 406,600 SF 7. GreenStreet (Retail & Office) 305,000 SF 8. NRG Tower (at GreenStreet) 263,200 SF 9. Partnership Tower 115,000 SF 10. 1712 Pease (small bldg 2009) 20,000 SF 11. 1201 Congress (small) 5,700 SF
  2. I think this demolition that you see is Randall Davis' new 100-unit Westcreek condo tower. As much I would have LOVED to see the office tower get up and running, I believe that Peloton had an option on the land, announced the Westcreek Centre office tower, was unable to get financing in order, the option ran out, and the land owner did not extend it. So I think this is a dead project.
  3. 1000 Main, which is as comparable to BG Group Place as can be considering the buildings downtown, is up for sale and supposed to go for north of $500 per square foot. Invesco purchased BG Group Place from Hines in 2013 and they plan to hold onto it long-term. They purchased it for $493 per square foot.
  4. Yep, it's per year, per square foot leased. :-)
  5. BG Group Place is quoting $36.00 net and their 2014 budgeted operating expenses are $18.50. 609 Main is quoting $36.00 net as well, except for the top 2 penthouse floors are $40.00.
  6. Long time reader, first time posting. I work for a company associated with this project. It is officially dead. I believe the church decided to use the land to build their own parking garage on it.
