    It looks as though the "patio" will be enclosed. I am disappointed to see this. The billboard pic looked as though Starbucks & Quiznos would share an outdoor seating area. =(

    I have been living "inside the loop" for over a year now, and must say that the general mood of most of the folks in this area(not a comparison to "outside the loop") seems to be unhappy and surly. I feel like I am still in New Jersey

    It makes sense, the building for lease will fill up much quicker than the other. That way they will have some cash to work with from the leases, as the sales side will go much slower.

    Horton Plaza was a WONDERFUL start for the revitalization of downtown San Diego...which has come full circle and keeps going like gang busters!!! It was however a very slow start. But they remained focused and got the Gaslamp going, And then Little Italy, marina, and now the East village.

    I live at the Calais as well...I was very disappointed to see a "nextel" store go up. That is very ghetto!

    Does anyone know where the greyhound station is going to be built?

    The Galleris does NOT need a movie theater. That would only bring down the overall quality of the mall.
