    Quite a nice office indeed, but it isn't really that much different from the Houston office. The main differences I see are the "warehouse" portions with the high windows (more natural light), the exposed columns, and the higher ceilings. The Houston office shares most of the other components, including the coffee bar, designer furniture, shared spaces, etc. They even managed to get the landlord to allow them to construct a glass staircase connecting the two levels of their office. The SF one is definitely better than ours, but the Houston one is still nice.

    I'm surprised that the San Antonio zoo made the list! The last time I was there, in late 2006, it wasn't too impressive. It wasn't bad though; some of the enclosures just seemed kinda small.

    Lake Flato, eh? They're quite a distinct firm indeed, and they do have some pretty neat projects under their belts. The UT School of Nursing and Student Community Center in the TMC is one of theirs, in fact.

    So, they closed Astroworld only to have Euro-Disney open up across the street!

    Not too pretty, but it will do a decent job of covering up that part of the Wedge. Oh, and it's more affordable hotel rooms for the CBD. Win.
