  1. If I wasn't hauling anything over 8000 pounds, Titan would be my truck in a heartbeat. Red, if you ask if that is with or without ME in the truck, YOU will catch a serious beatdown the next time I see you !!!!
  2. Well, technically, Toyota Tundra IS an "American truck", as they are built in San Antonio. But, the Nissan Titan, destroys ALL in class. The Titan is also built in America NOT Japan.
  3. I don't know if anybody mentioned this, but Frank's Pizza downtown is EXCELLENT ! New York style.
  4. I believe they had a mini store in baybrook mall at one point.
  5. EDIT: The Original Christmas Store, I clearly remember their "logo" was of very ornate bold lettering, and a Santa with one finger over his lips as to show it was a secret. Used to go EVERY year from about 1978 to 1990 or so. Was a very big part of Holiday season growing up. I believe they had 2 stores at one point. Some phenomenal Trees and decorations with music blaring. I remember the first 2 ornaments I bought from there. One, is a Snoopy sleeping on a present that I still use to this day, and an electronic "bird" ornament, it had a couple of different bird calls that would play and was THAT ever a bad idea. Became very annoying and was not used the next Christmas. Used to be a regular Disneyland line coming out of that sucker to get in.
  6. You have a pop up blocker on or something. They should show if your settings are right.
  7. Apparently HELMETS are optional. I saw the report on Channel 11 last night, and the video showed SEVERAL people without helmets on. Aren't there supposed to be monitors, "lifeguards" at this thing ?
  8. LOL! I was thinking the same thing, and the balls appear to have gone through the hoops much easier, look how small that ball is that girl in the middle is holding. I am gonna hold onto my hat and say this was the girl's SOFTBALL team ? Note to self: remember to put crackpipe down before posting about topics 6 days later.
  9. Well, it wasn't exactly the Bellagio. They weren't set up with all the neon lights and whatnot waterfountains that played music. A few table games and a couple of backroom poker tables and a bar is about it. The kind of stuff you'd find in a Mike Hammer novel. The people that ran this establishment weren't the Steve Wynn tycoon types, they were the Vinnie Bag O' Donuts, break your friggin' legs if you don't pay up, types. Come to think of it, there was a huge pond back there where the Alligators were kept for the deadbeats who couldn't pay their credit off, so THAT could be considered like the Bellagio water show ? I am sure this place existed as well as others around this city, and in Galveston. He isn't pullin' your leg.
  10. Jermaine, the corner of 610 and I-10 would be the old Malibu Gran Prix and Gnome Golf complex. You are definately thinking of the intersection of 610 and 59.
  11. <------ Raises his hand cautiously. Yeah, me too.
  12. OH DUH ! That's right I keep forgetting they bought it . I think we even talked about it in another thread, and about how I used to work at the original D&B's on Richmond. Before anyone chimes in, YES, I know the ORIGINAL original is in Dallas.
  13. LOL! I used to drink for free at ToC all the time, my buddy Allen Schlumbergegenhoffer, not actually his last name, nobody could really say his last name, and I won't tell you what his "nickname" was in order to protect the innocent, was part owner. But the amount of hip/hop being played just got to be too much, and Allen and his partner had a bad falling out, so alot of folks stopped going, and then it just snowballed downhill. It was good if you got tired of Spy and just wanted to roam across the street though.
  14. Didn't Magic Johnson buy the whole place. They went downhill pretty fast after losing Jillian's, and some bad press about stabbings and gunplay can't help you out either.
  15. I remember getting a turkey caller and a bird caller from the fun shop. Drove people crazy looking around for the bird. Also got a Stormtrooper mask from there. Bought a Bichon Frise from the Petland at the Galleria in 1987. Good dog, he past away in 2001.
  16. Maybe it was Dodge ?...........
  17. <------- waves at Mark ! WASUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPPPPPPPPP ?!?!?!?!
  18. Dave I completely APOLOGIZE to you and others. I am NOT hating on Bush either, in fact Mark F. will tell you, I am probably the most vocal supporter of him on here. I just needed a thread that pertained to oil, and I needed to be heard on it. I will happily remove my post as not to cause you any further pain my friend.
  19. ... I'm sorry, wrong thread, I know, but this is oil related and I didn't get to post this in Puma's thread because he requested to close it down. Boo Hoo !
  20. Remember the Jazz were in New Orleans before they went to Utah. The name fit back then. They still blow as a team though.
  21. RIGHT IN THE KISSER !!! OMG!!! that looks absolutely painful ! Now, look at the Jackass to the left of the picture with the baby, he isn't even TRYING to cover that kid up. Now, look at the guy at the top in the black shirt, the guy is watching the dude get smacked by the bat and he already has a smile on his face. That guy is EVILLLLLLLLLLLL !!!
  22. They are merely making sure you are wearing your seatbelt, have proper registration on your car, and not going over the posted speed limit. They are just doing their jobs, imagine that. Making sure you get home safe and sound to your family, my gosh, what nerve those doughnut eaters have.
