    Here's a panorama shot of the corner on Main next to the car dealership. About half way down the property along Main is a large square pit I assume to be a future elevator shaft, which mean they're about to pour the foundation for the GAME CHANGING gfr!

    Maybe one of the guys at 2016 can take an overhead shot and we can get a better idea of what they're doing.

    If you look closely at the floor with the No Trespassing sign, you can see that the notches don't run across the floor and look to be a 6-12 inch square. To me, this further confirms that they will be used to anchor the windows/facade.

    Snapped this today and talked to one of the guys behind the project. The conceptual renderings he showed me look amazing, but this will be a really cool project even if it's half as nice as what's planned. edit: Sorry for taking this picture with a potato... (2301 Main St. - Suede Lounge, LP)

    I guess the notches on the lower levels are part of the window install??

    I was wondering the same thing since the rendering doesn't show windows on that side. It makes sense though, with the clear view to the south.

    In true Midtown fashion, there is a guy sleeping on the sidewalk in the streetview you listed. Do you have any other info on the remodel? Is there a TABC application on the door? It's called GAGE. http://www.gagelounge.com/

    There's a new bar/lounge that's opened up in the old barcadia spot across from the superblock. I never heard anything about it or saw remodeling crews, but they had their soft opening tonight. 60's themed with the place decked out in retro furniture and decorations. It looks like a classy change to what Midtown is used to.

    I feel like they're really showing their hand by doing the remediation before purchasing the other lots.

    Anybody know what's going on with this project? I noticed the fencing has been taken down and the backhoe is gone.

    Wow. This is a nice design and the garage actually accents the tower. Thumbs up.

    Do we finally some Heights-esque Midtown creep?! To me this looks like the condos in Miami designed to keep non-residents out.

    I really don't see this going anywhere as it is currently planned. The site is far from ideal for a posh urban enclave.

    It looks as though work is finally underway to convert 2401 Main St into a bar/lounge. As far as I can tell, the name is going to be Traffic?

    I noticed that as well. To me it looked like they were tying into the sewer or water main.
