  1. This may be for the ShopX "micro retail village" they announced. https://www.posthtx.com/shopx
  2. Looks like the pocket park on McGowen is finally getting a food vendor. https://midtownhouston.com/event/pop-up-on-the-plaza/
  3. I think someone posted that the Shipley development is no longer happening.
  4. Just noticed that the club at 2402 Austin St. has vacated. Any chance that Privacy intends to take that space instead? Much more likely location for a lounge.
  5. I would imagine the majority of Austin's office space is fairly new as well. Downtown Houston's plan to convert older office buildings to residential would be a really bad omen for their market if it turned to that.
  6. According to Google streetview, this location has been a UHaul rental location since at least 2018. I highly doubt they fenced off the whole block to relocate some trucks.
  7. This appears to be a new/additional location on the third? floor (suite 3200). And at 5652 sq ft, I would guess this will either be a fine dining concept or event venue.
  8. Doesn't look like any work has been done yet, but here's the backside for reference.
  9. Probably referencing the 2015 version of the International Building Code.
  10. https://www.galvnews.com/news/port-of-galveston-receives-largest-state-grant-in-its-history/article_2d7870cc-8fa4-59fb-a4aa-eecd90797017.html
  11. The internet is not for everyone. The mean threads of HAIF will chew you up and spit you out.
  12. Dough Zone is targeting an October 2nd opening. https://www.chron.com/food/article/houston-dough-zone-opening-18375424.php
  13. 1120 Dennis or 2800 San Jacinto? This thread is so confusing. Everything appears to reference 2800 San Jacinto (the office building with the creation mural), but the title was changed to 1120 Dennis which is where the BYOB place just opened.
  14. Looks like their crowd-funding campaign didn't get the necessary traction and it was withdrawn. https://republic.com/blanc-noir
  15. Looks amazing. Glad this is the first thing you see when getting into town (although this was taken on the way off the island).
  16. Source with additional photos and drone videos: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid0EcMjz7GPSTGJLt3byX138jNWkujfc3GKrvNxaS62yX4JHruUjgqcSXDfxCWo5ToCl&id=100000548055334&mibextid=Nif5oz
  17. I would agree that nothing says On The Grind. 1550 OTG is most likely an abbreviation for 1550 On The Green. And On The Grind appears to only have San Antonio area locations, so expanding to Houston would probably be announced in some sort of press release.
  18. Isn't that how most right turn only lanes work? Better to ruin an axle than plow into a car trying to merge onto Allen parkway.
  19. The Planning agenda shows this company as the developer. https://www.kimley-horn.com/
