  1. It would be cool if the site across from the NRG Complex were turned into a huge sports and entertainment center. I'm thinking like the Funplex on Beechnut in Southwest Houston, combined with Indoor Karting and games in Katy but much larger. The size of a mall (Willow brook or Katy Mills) but dedicated to sports and games. Getting people out the house and off the video games and being active. In fact, it probably would have an old school arcade, which are coming back. There would be enough space for football field (just throwing no contact), basketball courts, batting cages, small soccer field, ice ring, tennis court, pickle ball, volleyball, rock climbing, indoor track, working rooms, yoga, ice skating, indoor go cart racing, martial arts classes, bowling, MMA fighting ring, biking circle, Espn center. An entire complex dedicated to sports, recreation, and fun. I would make sense being across from NRG Complex. Just an idea, would y'all think. The empty field is just sitting there waiting to be developed. I am thinking calling it TEXAS FUNPLEX or TEXAS SPORTSPLEX. Something like that.
  2. I would love to see the Astrodome turned into a new and much bigger Space Center Houston. Since we didn't get any of the retired Space shuttles, we could build mock-ups/replicas and memorials dedicated to both Challenger and Columbia. IIMAX Theater, Science display, etc. All the space vehicles at NASA now could easily fit into the dome. The new Space X vehicles when they retire. A huge visual screen like the "globe" in Vegas, that would be an amazing tribute. Yep, NO shuttles for Houston, at least the ones that were actually in service and went to space. Still mad about that. Discovery went to Viginia at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, Endeavor went to the California Science Museum, and Atlantis went to Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Thats why I say let's rebuild Challenger and Columbia and display them as memorials for our lost patriots at the Astrodome / (New Space Center Houston.)
  3. Houston will soon have another Fortune 500 company. Hewlett Packard Enterprise announced today that it will relocate its headquarters here from Silicon Valley. It’s the latest example of Houston’s aggressive efforts to relocate major corporate headquarters and create a more robust digital tech ecosystem. #houston #hewlettpackard #texas #technology #computers Hewlett Packard Enterprise Relocating Global HQ to Houston houston.org • 3 min read
  4. All I have to say is METRO-LIGHT RAIL ! If Houston would stop playing politics and go ahead and built the University Line, Uptown Line, and future Inner-Katy line, you could have directed traffic alot more smoothly on the westside of town. The issue is not the amount of people, but instead the number of cars on the road ! You could have used rail to get from downtown to uptown/galleria with ease, and then walk to the galleria right next door. I just hope we can get some people who can think progressive in leadership positions.
