Adventure Pointe inboxed me on facebook after asking about a construction timetable to say that it would open spring/summer 2017 and possibly a section of it would be open in a few months from now. I know the ground is being cleared for the parking lot and sidewalks as of current. Also the rides would be installed early next year.

I was in Atlanta when the similiar Oliver McMillan development opened....it also started slow with just retail and later picked up when the restaurants opened.....so it will became a nice dense development by summer i expect.

Build something like the french quarters on the astroworld properties and make astrodome the proposed park and BOOM! ...............a instant hit!!
-
I suggest a laser show on the weekends at the dome, like the one that is shown on stone mountain in georgia. I also suggest a New Year's countdown using a rocket to bring in the new year with the largest party in the metro inside. The rocket can be on top of the dome and paid admission to enter can help it bring in revenue.
Should i forward this ideal on?

Thanks for the floor count info.

Looks like the front part of the property facing I-45 is leveled and ready for construction. Now work has jumped to back of the property where the amphitheater was originally supposed to go.

What is the floor count anyone that knows?

Atlanta has more than one location, so Houston may end up eventually with a Uptown area location.
