  1. Touché. I can dream. They needn't even be anywhere near as inspiring as those you're talking about either. I understand for cost efficiency, etc the huge mega Corp developers use the same garbage over and over in all metroplexes. But..... Please? Am I in Denver, Saint Louis, Atlanta, Houston or.....? lol
  2. I’ve learned that maturity had more to do with what types of experiences you’ve had and what you’ve learned from them and less to do with how many birthdays you’ve celebrated.

Seems like the way he treats his superiors would be another useful datapoint. But at that point, we're just examining him holistically. The quote loses its rhetorical properties.

  4. I won't speak for slickvic, but to me "bad smell" in referencing pizza would be they've allowed one or more items to sour. The ingredients at some za houses are left in too warm for too long prep areas. Me loves a good smelly cheese n lots-o-garlic please. Lol I do hate though, when I want just a slice and it may look fine sitting there but once I take that first bite I can tell it sat there just long enough to "grow rancid" yuk-yuk. Franks is still my fav, especially as I live so close. I've just learned to speak up and have them make a do-over.
  5. Yea, this seems to be a major problem of mine also. Luigi's is great or it's awful. Franks, downtown also. How hard can it be to do a thin crust plain cheese pizza with consistency? That's all I ask. Will try Brthers when out that way. Denver had Famous Pizza, no matter the time of day you could walk in order a slice and it was always good, maybe not super fresh but consistently good!
  6. Thanks for your favs, need to try a few. Pink's are good. What about your fav thin crust New York style?
  7. I’ve learned that it’s not what you have in your life but who you have in your life that counts.

I've learned (from observation, not practice) that it's more important to be able to manipulate people. That's how you can entice special people to share your misery against their better judgement.

  9. Se você é ***, é pecado. Se você é bissexual, é confuso. Se você é muito magro, usa drogas. Se você é gordo, come demais.

  11. I’ve learned that it’s taking me a long time to become the person that I want to be......I’ve learned that just because someone doesn’t love you the way you want them to doesn’t mean that they don’t love you with all they have.....I’ve learned that you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them.....I’ve learned that you can keep going long after you can’t......

  12. After Pennzoil Place, it is my second favorite building in Houston. So, Love it. As a courier I have seen pretty much all of it. It is still the simplistic exterior that I love. Now that I have hear "the Cracker Building" It is even more endearing to me. As someone here said the Club on the top two floors are dated, but in a tacky, cool way I guess. That was a year ago, perhaps they've been updated now. It will be interesting what happens to this building now that Exxon is "moving on up" or should I say up North.lol
  13. Você aprendeu na escola sobre respeitar os índios?Sim?!Virou índio?Não?!... Então por que diabos acha que ensinar seu filho a respeitar os homossexuais o fará se tornar um?

  16. Wells Fargo, my bank cashed a check, given a fake 100. FYI, I will check yours along with everyone elses going forward now. That was 100 I did not need to lose.
  17. If mankind minus one were of one opinion, then mankind is no more justified in silencing the one than the one - if he had the power - would be justified in silencing mankind.

  18. Wow, flashback with this post. I was 19 and took a first date there, she orders the highest priced steak, shrooms on the side, along with several sides, then eats about three bites. Total!!! Yikes! Lol it was that far out? Is that the address? I need to see what's there now.
  19. Due to the wideI influence of Italian and Greek immigrants in American culture, the US has developed regional forms of pizza, some bearing only a casual resemblance to the Italian original. Chicago has its own style of a deep-dish pizza, whereas New York City has developed its own distinct variety of thin crust pizza. Ah, pizza.... The personal fav debate wages onward.

  21. THat is no, nor shall it ever be, pizza, a za or a pie yes. Hahaha It is a..... how much stuff can we stuff into dough so you may stuff yourselves. Hahaha New york style is the second best after authentic Italian for me. Lol
