  1. I believe it would have been around early to mid 70's
  2. My parents shopped here also in the 60's and early 70's. Have some pictures somewhere of the building before it was torn down, just need to find them.
  3. I am still trying to find out what the name of the school that was at the corner of Little York and Homestead Road. It has been torn down. On the property now is the Northeast College North Forest Campus.
  4. Does anyone have any pictures of the Houston Gardens Elementary that is on Homestead Road from the 1960's or 70's?
  5. Does anyone have any old pictures (1960's and early 70's) of the West University Place's pool or entrance building?
  6. Would you have any more information regarding the Parkway drive in?
  7. Would then the Hughes Club been off of Sheldon Road and Lyyondell at the end where it runs into the river?
  8. If I remember right, didn't Hughes Tool have their own park area for their employees? Just can't remember where it was at.
  9. There was also a bakery about two streets over from University Blvd in the Village. At the moment, I cannot recall the name. I believe it stayed in business until the 90's? They made really good cakes.
