From TDECU Stadium, this building appears to be attached to the Southern tip of downtown. It along with 800 Crawford really appear to extend the skyline from that vantage point.8 points

I'm surprised more hasn't been developed recently in that area. Great location if you like that area. My parents moved into a condo a block further down Woodway, back in the 1970s (they were pioneers of condo living 😁). Just outside their 5th floor windows is the Bordeaux Tanglewood Apts, owned by Jerry Finger. They always figured at some point, their view would be partially obscured by whatever development takes its place. Almost fifty years later... still waiting. And they still have a great view.4 points

Stopped by Teaspresso this AM. Still in their soft opening. If you've been to the Heights location, then you'll be familiar with the vibe and menu. A little expensive for boba imo (a boba with one topping and a 18% tip ran me $7), but it's good. The person I spoke to, who I believe is one of the owners, lives closeby in the neighborhood, so grab some boba and support local!3 points

Whoa. A single ground lease tenant for 50,000 square feet is a huge space. Trader Joe's? Also, since when has a 40 story residential been a part of this plan? I2 points

The industrial coatings building was finally torn down, they missed out on a great opportunity to sell to Domain Heights while they had a chance. This site is huge.2 points

Noticed some permitting activity lately. Called someone related to the project and they confirmed the London Square Townhomes will be demolished. The owner/developer is Endeavor Real Estate Group out of Austin. They're website does not have any Houston properties listed. Hopefully they enter the market with a splash! https://www.endeavor-re.com/ DMRE's old property flier. I've noticed DMRE's properties usually have a high chance of fast redevelopment. Waste water and sewer disconnect permits. Demolition should come next!1 point

You'd think a hurricane went through.....oh wait.... Hard to see in the pic, but a large tree fell and is blocking the trail at the curve1 point

Not sure if you've seen the improvements along Studewood, but that's basically what is coming to Montrose Blvd. Along the median of Studewood they added pedestrian crossings for better access to stops, wider sidewalks along the majority of the street and the bus shelters look really nice. https://www.ridemetro.org/Pages/METRO-BOOST-Network.aspx1 point
