  3. This is VERY good to see! More condos downtown are a good thing.

  4. Hopefully this will be as big for downtown as One Park Place was when it opened the floodgates on new apartments being viable in downtown. Downtown needs more and better options for ownership. I was tempted to buy in the Marlowe but just couldn't pull the trigger with a Randall Davis project. But, if others follow, I'll move downtown for sure.

  7. Hey thanks for the info about the Mid Lane project. Great news! My weekly update: Their wordage is always clever and perky! A new elevation render wraps the barricade. Again with their clever phrasing Energy bar area being worked on. Health & Beauty department. Spoke to a partner yesterday. Some news.. Health & Beauty department is taking over the floral refrigeration spot. Beer & Wine department is getting low profile shelving. Heard the low profile shelving has its positives and negatives. The front of the store will be expanding 40' into the parking lot (if I understood that correctly.)

  9. There are CBRE signs up at the Bethel Church at 1107 Shepherd, or the block bounded by Shepherd, Durham, Center and Nett. This might create difficulty for the restaurant formerly known as Floyd's, since they use the church parking lot for their customers. 10. I'm excited about the progress we've made and am a proud Houstonian but does anyone ever get bummed when looking at other more dense cities like Chicago and even Seattle? I seen this photo and kinda got bummed thinking how far we still have to go to fill in downtown.

  11. I notice that the cruddy store that was located at the westheimer facing entrance next to cheesecake factory closed and now there are some major renovations going on...if you look at this photo below, it looks exactly like the same location:

  16. So let me get this straight...you want them to perform routine maintenance while kids are playing without roping off the areas that are being replaced? I mean...you said it in your post...they're replacing turf; you think that's going to take all summer? What other option do they have? Leaving it as a brown pile of dust, or taking a few days to replace some turf?
