Well, let's remember that no sport in the world is more popular - in terms of both players and fans - than soccer/football. Houston is home to a large number of latin americans, too. I'm sure they make up a large portion of the regular attendees. This is a good-sized stadium. Capacity of 22,000 puts it at #4 in a ranking of soccer-specific stadiums in the MLS - with only LA, NYC and Toronto having larger capacities. And, in my opinion, it's the best-looking of the lot.

I love the look of the new stadium... I just wish I could enjoy soccer. I've tried. A part of me worries that once the stadium opens (and people pour in to see the stadium), their reaction will be like on the Simpsons http://www.blinkx.com/watch-video/simpsons-explain-soccer/LX4RzIMfZsf03GZpqLs1Bw

Went walking a few weeks ago on Harrisburg where the old shopping area was. Seems it's not nearly as easy to walk as it once was. Sidewalks are no longer wide. The street is about 12 to 18" below the sidewalk depending on where you are. While the trees are nice, manuevering a wheelchair between the tree and street will be challenging. This was taken in front of a furniture store, hence the mattress out front.

For some reason, this is what I expect this to be put somewhere on this complex, but I'm willing to bet SOMEONE will paint this on there.
