Nashville, TN Developments
Strange…I thought Austin was Oracle’s HQ?? This doesn’t bode well for Austin… Ellison said Nashville's prominent health care industry is a major draw for the company because of its increasing emphasis on health care software products. "Nashville is already a health center," Ellison said. "We’re moving this huge campus which will ultimately be our world headquarters to Nashville." He then mentioned the governor of Texas and said: "I shouldn't have said that." Oracle's headquarters are in Austin, Texas and Oracle officials have previously said the Nashville and Austin campuses will both be U.S. headquarters locations. "There will be a concert venue, a lake with a floating stage where we can have concerts for the community. We want to be part of the community. Our people love it here and we think it’s the center of our future."- 1

Sunset Amphitheater - McKinney
A Colorado-based entertainment and hospitality firm is bringing the largest music venue in its portfolio to North Texas. Notes Live will debut its $220M Sunset Amphitheater in McKinney following approval of a development deal for the project. The open-air venue at the northeast corner of US 75 and the Sam Rayburn Tollway will hold up to 20,000 guests and is expected to open in 2026, according to a news release. The 46-acre facility will include 250 luxury fire pit suites, a reserved seating area, a landscaped grass berm and owners suites. The venue is designed to accommodate major touring acts and is slated to put McKinney on the map as a live music destination. Notes Live is expected to be a boon for prosperity in McKinney, injecting more than $3B into the local and regional economy in its first 10 years and creating more than 1,300 jobs. More than $50M in grants and incentives were awarded to the developer at the April 16 council meeting. Construction is slated to kick off in August. https://www.bisnow.com/dallas-ft-worth/news/economic-development/multimillion-dollar-amphitheater-headed-to-mckinney-following-approval-of-development-agreement-123829 -

Houston Ship Channel Developments
Its amazing how the Port of Houston generates about $900 billion with $400 billion going to taxes yet the city of Houston hasn't developed some of its infrastructure around the port or even in the entire city generally. You would think a city generating this much income for the state and nation would look somewhat maintained.- 1

I-10 Inner Katy Managed Lanes Project
When I went to my mothers for the Total Eclipse I started to take 1604 around to bypass IH10 through downtown. 1604 was under construction at 3 different places and traffic was backed up for miles in stop and go traffic but mostly stopped. First chance I got to turn around and get back on IH 10 I did. I then realized why I hate taking that route. There are 2 single lane exits to get off IH and get back on it. Whoever designed that part of IH 10 around the west side of downtown San Antonio should be tarred and feathered. Then you have to decide if you want the elevated portion or the lower deck.🤬 One single lane on the main southern IH Interstate Highway system just to stay one it, one.
