May 14, 2017 - 8:45 am - 11:00 am

Mason Park

541 S 75th St, Houston, Texas, 77023

Hiking in nature inspires and is insightful. Yoga is introspective and twisty. Put the two together and voila, Hiking Zen!

As if yoga, zen & hiking weren’t enough, we’re throwing in the social as well. Our zen mixology will have you rejuvenated, and with a few new friends to help bring the ZEN and rejuvenation to our hikes.

We’ll hike along Huntsville State Park trail, and we’ll stop for some yoga & zen along Raven Lake, wildflowers & wildlife.

What better way to enjoy hiking along the lake than adding yoga to your hike! Meet at the Nature Center, just past the park entrance.  Entrance to the park is $5 unless you have a State Park Pass or ride with someone who has one.

Level of Difficulty:  All Levels

When we rate an event all levels, it means we’ll go the pace of the group who shows up. We don’t leave people behind. We’ll do loops and stops to regroup.

Dog-Friendly: Yes, if you’re dog will not bother others during yoga & it’s not too hot

Kid Friendly: Yes, Use your judgment on length of time

Rain Plan: Houston weather changes so frequently.  We will still go if it’s light rain.  If we need to cancel due to weather, we will do it the morning of so keep an eye on your email after you RSVP.
