The Facades+ conference series is a dynamic innovation in building skins—bridging the profession, industry, academia, building operations, and ownership. We've condensed the best of the Facades+ two-day event into an intensive morning forum with a strong local focus—Facades+AM—this time specific to the opportunities and challenges in Houston and the Southwest. The rapidly developing field of high-performance facades has emerged as essential to building integration, and central to the realization of resilient buildings and a sustainable built environment. The building envelope combines attributes of aesthetics and performance like nothing else in architecture. Houston has its own special facade conditions and requirements, including heat and wind mitigation.
