    WHAT: 20th ANNUAL ARTIST’S WAREHOUSE ARTCRAWL
    DATE: Saturday, November 17, 2012 TIME: 10am-9pm
    WHERE: The Artists Warehouse District
    PARKING: Available at each warehouse; metered parking under I-10 between San Jacinto & Main. Designated free parking donated by UHD
    MAPS: Available at each warehouse & www.artcrawl.houston.com TRANSPORTATION: Metro Light Rail- exit U of H downtown, walk, bike, skate. ADMISSION: FREE
    Houston’s one & only, original & official 20th Annual Artist’s Warehouse ARTCRAWL, will take place: Saturday, November, 17, 2012, from 10 am to 9 pm. Over 160 pARTicipating Artists in this neighborhood cluster of warehouses will open their working art studios, live in and exhibition spaces to the public. Maps are available at Motherdog Studios - ARTCRAWL.Houston headquarters (720 Walnut St 77002).
    Go green remains our theme (look for our signature neighborhood traffic islands). Visitors are encouraged to explore by hiking and biking to experience the art in this diverse historical district.
    The landmark Last Concert Cafe will open early at 11:00 am. to accommodate hungry and thirsty ARTCRAWLERS. New nibbles and libations in the neighborhood include “ Oxheart” and the local grand masters of microbreweries: Saint Arnold Brewing Company.
    Fotofest & Pedal Houston (www.fotofest.org/bikescramble.) will collaborate with ARTCRAWL again this year to offer another bike tour of off the beaten path ARTCRAWL warehouses, which will include the - the “Silo.” (4601 Clinton Dr.) www.artcrawlhouston.com

    For the first time ever, the 'Art of Wholesome Eating' workshop is coming to Houston next month from November 16 - 19!
    This workshop is being taught by the Sri Sri Ayurveda Institute (based in Canada), and will:
    Take us deep into the knowledge and practice of Ayurvedic cooking
    Impart intensive knowledge of how Ayurveda interweaves body types, nutrition and the five elements into creating delectable, life-supporting foods
    Weave ancient knowledge into cooking for a disease-free body and mind
    Come and learn the art of experiencing yoga, harmony in body and mind, at the breakfast/lunch/dinner table, and enrich that source of energy - the food that we eat!</p>
