Hiking is greatexercise, and you don’t have to drive outside of the city to find great trails.There are flat trails, hills, woods and water on this hike along a section of Houston’s Buffalo Bayou.We will maintain an easy to moderate pace, with snack & water stops (bringyour own), bat viewing and art & sculpture viewing.
We meet at Cleveland Park on the north side of Memorial Dr., thereis a foot-walkway over Memorial here. The hike will start here and then we head towards downtown on the northside of the bayou. There should be parking along the park and street forfree.
At the end of thehike you will have worked hard, made new friends and discovered all sorts ofsecret Houstonhideaways along the Buffalo Bayou in this Bayou city!
