    Fujiwara Ikuzo, Japan's greatest living ceramic muralist, with over 500 major installations throughout Japan, visits Houston Oct 1-5, 2007. He will be in Houston to discuss his architectural and landscape art. This legendary artist was invited by Dean Joseph Mashburn for a lecture at the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture at the University of Houston, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 .

    Please join JapanArt.org and the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture at the University of Houston on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. for a sushi reception and lecture with Japan's greatest living ceramic architectural and landscape artist, Fujiwara Ikuzo.
    "Fujiwara Ikuzo is at the forefront of architectural art in Japan. More than 500 hundred ceramic walls and walkways from his studio grace public facilities, buildings, restaurants, cultural halls, homes, floors, and gardens, throughout Japan.
