I recall the Bank One days. The view over Houston was simply wonderful. I loved the central location to Foleys, Metro Restaurant, Zydeco Restaurant and the Krispy Crème. It was a great building and I have so many great memories of old downtown Houston. I shall cherish the Bank One days !

I have fond memories of this building especially during the holidays. When I was employed by Bank of The Southwest, I remember the hot wassal and gingerbread cookies that was served to their customers and employees (at the tree) in the lobby. This was a great location for any employee, with Foleys "Brown Bag" restaurant & bakery, Woolsworth across the street, Gehearts Womens clothing store, the tunnel, so on and so on.... and most of all, I was so fortunate to work in such a beautiful building. I proudly hold on to my "Bank of the Southwest" pin

This is one of the best buildings in the entire City of Houston. Not only does it have the stature of facing One Shell Plaza, it simply presents it's own timeless charm. I suggest that all of you take a closer look at this structure. It certainly deserves more than a "drive by" out of your car window or sunroof.
