      10 And Heights: Mixed-Use At 1515 Studemont St.

      It looks very poorly done to me…a winding 5-6 ft path from the bayou converts into a 3 ft path that ends right on the entranceway to the strip center near the street. Couldn’t they have put pedestrian access on the opposite side?

      Urban Style Developments Coming To College Station

      The city of College Station is moving forward with a Northgate small area plan to help guide further development. They are also negotiating the sale of the Northgate parking lot with Capstone Communities who would develop a student housing high-rise on the site. The develop must include the following: 100 public parking spaces Ride share pick-up and drop-off area Law enforcement substation of 3500-5000 square feet Public restrooms Dumpster area Redevelopment, operation, and maintenance of the remaining property into a public green space, plaza, or courtyard Also shown were a site plan for renovations to Hensel Park (TAMU property) And concepts for grade separations on University Drive.       Dickinson - Bayou Village & City Park

      This project has a new site plan. Seems to make a bit more efficient use of the site. There was also mention of a "public plaza" between the retail and apartments but I'm not sure where that would go.

      1325 S Dairy Ashford Rd - Ashford Yard

      New complex with retail, restaurants and apartments to replace former Schlumberger offices A new mixed-use development with office space, retail and a 350 unit apartment complex is coming to west Houston. Replacing an old strip center, office building, and surface parking lot with five low-rise buildings housing service-related retail, entertainment, fitness, and food and beverage tenants. Restaurants would surround a gathering space called the Yard, which could host events, live music, yoga and other activities. Developers hope to make it feel like a mini City Center. Demolition of the two office buildings could begin in about five weeks. New retailers could open in Ashford Yard in the second quarter of 2026.
