  1. Huh. Strong Enron vibes. Fits in with Greenway but wouldn't be my first choice for the site.
  2. I worked at a (different) Whole Foods for two years, and I can promise you that the idea that only rich people shop there is nonsense. Its reputation for being expensive has also always been overblown- it has expensive items but it's (mostly) not overpriced and their house brand stuff is really good. That said, it's gone downhill quite a bit since the Amazon buyout. But if you want a store that really is overpriced, I'd argue for Randall's personally.
  3. Why would you argue with someone who literally chose the name "MaxConcrete"? That's, at best, not someone you're going to convince.
  4. Yes, good point. Apartment dwellers rarely buy groceries.
  5. His and Hers bathrooms where Hers is always significantly better really irritates me. Also, why does the toilet need its own door if you're not sharing the entire bathroom with *anyone*? Why are massive rooms better than more bedrooms/true dedicated home offices?
  6. This is a deeply unhelpful tangent. In no way is anybody's ability to access their home by car being threatened.
  7. It is not possible to eliminate all opposition with *any* project, and road diets in particular always have opponents. You don't like this project. We get it. That doesn't make it unsuccessful. 11th St was unsafe and uncomfortable and now it is much less so. Is it perfect? No. But it does a much better job of prioritizing human life and was able to be implemented relatively quickly and cost effectively.
  8. They didn't "rehab" these; they're almost entirely new materials.
  9. Definitely some questionable taste going on here.
  10. These look good, but why bother "keeping" the original houses for this? Just build new.
  11. nobody tell the mayor about those curbs.
  12. wait. a cheesesteak place is being replaced by someone named Hoagland? That can't be right.
  13. That's standard-issue artist blurb and is really just about the art they're using not the (bar?) itself.
  14. Awful. How much money is this funeral house making that this was worth it to them??
