He's returning to the ABC O&O Station & launching a new segment with Ch. 13 called "Dave Ward's Houston", the weekly feature, which launches in September, will be taking a look back each week at a topic in Bayou City history that even natives like myself might not be familiar with. Quote All of the original Eyes of Texas shows from 1969-1978 were shot on film and to date, have not been transferred to tape or DVD. Those early shows on film are at KPRC-TV, not available at Rice University. However many of these stories reappear in later episodes beginning in 1978 and are available at Rice University. I'd be curious if KPRC also has the 93-late 90s ones as well or if they're in the posession of people from Stonefilms - the late Ron Stone's production company.
