dbigtex56
Recent events have lead to higher tariffs on steel, lumber, aluminum, solar panels, and other materials used in constructing new buildings. Will this lead to changes in the design of buildings? How does it affect buildings currently under construction? Are developers more likely to renovate existing buildings rather than deal with the higher costs of materials? Any other insights? (I'd prefer that the replies pertain only to the higher costs, and not how they came about, the political implications, etc.)
