Tyson Posted November 7, 2016 Share Posted November 7, 2016 I was brought up to think of God as a scary, vengeful and wrathful God, and he was not a friendly person to go to when you had a problem. I don't wan't my kids to go through that and I want them to think of God as love. Does anyone else know what I'm talking about? Did you grow up thinking of God the same way? I also used to be confused as to how my 'heavenly Father' could condemn me to an eternity of suffering for making a few mistakes. It didn't make sense to me at all at the time.
