Browser Question

Recommended Posts

It depends on the website and what you're doing on the site.  Most sites use cookies, which are individual per browser, to store state data; for example, HAIF will now save a post you've partially typed even if you leave the page.  This only works on that browser on that computer though - if you open the same page in a different browser that post will be no where to be found.

On the other hand, when you upload a new file to HAIF, you will see that on your other browser.  I'm just in using HAIF as an example, but in general anything temporary will only be on the browser your using, while anything more permanent on the server will be available in multiple browsers.
