More on Polk Street Market at 2704 Polk St from Loopnet:

To be renovated retail shopping center in EaDo with new glass storefronts, roof w/ rigid insulation, parking lot, and utilities.

This retail project is located in the heart of EaDo (East Downtown). New residential construction is happening everywhere and cool, old industrial buildings are being converted to offices, condominiums and art galleries. With its location between Downtown, the Texas Medical Center and the Houston Ship Channel, EaDo is close to the City' s major employment centers, walking or biking distance to major league basketball, baseball and soccer stadiums and entertainment such as Warehouse Live and the Columbia Tap Bike Trail, it' s clear why young, urban professionals are moving to EaDo as fast as the housing can be built. More importantly, these new residents need goods and services and the 1940' s Polk building renovation will be one of the first to help meet the demand for supporting retail.

Here's the flyer.

The restaurant going into Polk Street Market at 2704 Polk is Nancy's Hustle.

From Houston Business Journal:

A lease has recently been signed for a new neighborhood restaurant concept coming to East Downtown.

Chef Jason Vaughan and Sean Jensen expect to open an eatery tentatively named Nancy's Hustle this fall at 2704 Polk. The space is about 2,600 square feet.

...The restaurant will have a wine bar and neighborhood feel to it, Jensen said. The Nancy's portion of the name comes from Fat Nancy's diner in the movie "Mad Max," and hustle is a reference to Houston's "Hustle Town" nickname, he said.

Danu Properties LLC, which renovated the building, is led by Greg Lewis of Lewis Property Co. and Kevin Hanratty.

There has been a lot of progress made on the vet clinic and Nancy's Hustle. It looks like the 1,300 Sqft space has also been leased because workers have been in there for the last few weeks as well. I will get more pictures of the entire structure, it really is an amazing transformation when you look at the first post on this topic.
