Blue Dogs Posted March 30, 2016 Share Posted March 30, 2016 I noticed that Ch. 13 still had the long 3 hanging out of the Circle 13 logo on this date because they updated the Circle 13 logo in mid-May of 1986 during the Summer. This newscast was recorded less than 2 months after Ch. 13's then-owner Capital Cities Communications completed the purchase of ABC, which made Ch. 13 an ABC O&O Station (the Purchase was completed on January 3rd, 1986).
