jmitch94
I love how they put at $450,000 sports car that only 500 were produced in this render. Someone who made this must like fine cars too.

FIREhat
If this building's long axis is perpendicular to Bellaire Boulevard and it is where Black Eyed Pea is now it could be legally very interesting. The restaurant is in the City of Houston whereas part of the prking lot behind it is in the City of Southside Place. These renderings seem to show the building straddling the city limits. longcat
West U Elementary (where Southside place is zoned to) is already overcrowded and going to be getting worse with all the other projects on Bellaire Blvd nearby - this could get interesting in terms of how the straddling of city lines plays out with the PTA

AREJAY
Black Eyed Pea is on the demo report today. http://swamplot.com/daily-demolition-report-edison-out/2017-02-27/ Interesting that is lists "Cambridge Place; Bellaire Storage" as the permit buyers. EDIT: after looking into it more "The Bellaire Busybody" comment from oct 2016 from http://swamplot.com/apartments-or-maybe-more-to-replace-the-black-eyed-pea-on-bellaire-blvd/2014-06-17/ Quote The Black Eyed Pea property has sold to a company called Ojala Storage Fund. They are going to build a seven story self-storage building like the one they just built at 5700 Washington. HCAD confirms and says the current owner is "OSF Bellaire LP". Looks like this one needs a thread name change. pics of the building at 5700 Washington also by Ojala Storage for reference:
