Ross
Healing Waters Church (11th and Harvard) is now gone. I looked up the sale transactions on the County Clerk's site. There was a total of five lots owned by the church. They sold lot 5 and half of lot 4 to individuals, and it's subject to a $1.4 million loan, presumably for construction and lot purchase. The remaining property was sold to Harvard Heights, LP, subject to a $2.2 million loan. The lots do not appear to be part of the Historic District, so the new owners can do as they wish, presumably. I haven't driven by the house being built on the South end, but it looks pretty large from 11th. Any ideas on what's going to be built on the other lots?
s3mh
This is a development by Smith Family Homes. I do not know what they intend to do with the property, but they are the developers.
andre154
It'll be houses. They platted the land into three larger lots. The plat is available through the Harris County Clerk's website. You can register and look for the plat by name, "Smith House on Harvard". http://www.cclerk.hctx.net/applications/websearch/MC.aspx https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7dTlUibjCxGdmpTT2V3SGt2dXM/view?usp=sharing
s3mh
This is a development by Smith Family Homes. I do not know what they intend to do with the property, but they are the developers. Or maybe not. http://www.har.com/1039-harvard-st/sale_32126604
s3mh
http://www.har.com/1035-harvard/sale_56149964 Or maybe so. They are doing a foundation on the lot next to the new house that is almost finished. I do not know whether this is the house or whether the one above is going to abut 11th. One monster of a house for the Heights.
Angostura
The site has a total of 250 feet of frontage on Harvard. 1035 Harvard is listed as 9900 s.f. of land, which is 75 feet of frontage. The layout appears to be an attached alley-access garage, which would mean it's not the corner lot. 1039 Harvard is listed as 0.3 acres, which would be 100 feet of frontage. This appears to be the corner lot (offered at $106/s.f.). That leaves 75 feet of frontage (another 9900 s.f. lot, or two or more smaller lots).
