Blue Dogs Posted June 9, 2015 Share Posted June 9, 2015 This development completely took me by surprise... Fox 26 KRIV-TV news reporter Kristine Galvan has left the station after 10 years. On Tuesday, in her personal Facebook page, Galvan explained why she's leaving Fox 26: "As some of y'all know, I had a right knee scope in January to fix a badly torn meniscus, medial ligament tear & lateral ligament tear. 'On the job' recovery was difficult-especially during cold snaps & the Houston rodeo." But the most interesting part of the story is where Galvan mentioned the changing state of TV news industry, particularly the rise of multimedia journalists.
