DJboutit Posted December 13, 2014 Share Posted December 13, 2014 I have Blast internet from Comcast and over the last 2 days I have noticed my upload speed is really slow I am getting max of 350kbps I should be getting 1.2mbs to 1.4mbs. Anybody else noticed Comcast upload speed has been really slow over the last 2 1/2 days or so?? mkultra25 Posted December 13, 2014 Share Posted December 13, 2014 IIRC you ought to be getting a lot faster than 1.2Mbps upload speed with Blast. It should be closer to 10Mbps, assuming your modem is DOCSIS 3.0 certified (which it should be if it's reasonably new). If you don't have it already, download Comcast's My Account mobile app. It'll tell you quickly if there's a service issue in your area, and if so, the ETA for resolution. If everything checks out there, then it's probably time to grit your teeth and call Comcast's customer "service" number, and pray you get a CSR with a semblance of a clue. bachanon Posted December 14, 2014 Share Posted December 14, 2014 it's been slow periodically over the last two weekend in the woodlands. i do not know if it is weekend thing or not; maybe they are doing some sort of maintenance during slower usage periods. i've noticed it, however.
