trymahjong
I've posted a lot about "Neartown"--Neartown is one of 88 Super neighbor hoods ( there are 22 civic associations making up Neartown) Super neighborhoods are a forum, where common interests, projects etc are discussed.Potential SNAP projects are presented to super neighborhoods by local civic associations. The Super Neighborhood Action Plan (SNAP) provides Super Neighborhoods the opportunity to apply for small-scale improvements to their communities. On Wednesday, October 29th, the Department of Neighborhoods will host a workshop to discuss what types of projects may be included in a SNAP request. The event will take place from 6:30PM-8PM at the Central Downtown Library (500 McKinney St, 4th floor). Street parking is free after 6:00pm.
