citykid09
http://atlanta.curbed.com/archives/2014/03/19/multimodal-terminal-vision-will-blow-your-mind.php This project is very forward thinking and something I wish we would see more of in Houston. Do any of you think Houston will reconsider the Houston Intermodal Transit Center?

monarch
atlanta, is a city that just seems to get things done. houston, is just too ultra conservative. we always seem to move at a snails pace upon major projects.
arche_757
To be fair, Atlanta built a commuter system decades ahead of us. We on the other hand had a MAJOR economic crash just at the time the city was near/at the stage to beging some sort of transit system. That decade wounded Houston and set us apart from a lot of other cities in this country. Don't worry, there will be a day when Houston has a transit system and an intermodal passenger terminal. Houston19514
^ Yes, and maybe one day Atlanta will have an intermodal passenger terminal similar to the one being fantasized about in this thread. ;-)
