The restaurant will have a DJ as well as bottle service. It's supposed to be fine dining with an emphasis on entertainment and the vibe. The restaurant is inspired by Sexy Fish in Miami which is actually a really nice place.

Se7en isn't the only new dining addition slated for the Shops at Arrive Upper Kirby (formerly known as the Kirby Collection). Haii Keii is opening next year at 3300 Kirby Dr.

The announcement comes today via a press release, along with news of another tenant: Streetwear retailer Agenda.

About Haii Keii, which is the latest dining concept from James McGhee (proprietor of daiquiri shop Candy Shack, modern American steakhouse Juliet, and club/lounge Finish Your Champagne):

"...a new concept called Haii Keii will take a 2,878-square-foot spot in the mixed-use development. It will be the first location of the Japanese restaurant..."

About Agenda:

"Agenda Houston will relocate from its spot in The Galleria mall to its new 3,870-square-foot location in Upper Kirby at 3300 Kirby Drive, Houston. Goods available at the retailer include sneakers; denim wear; hoodies and outerwear; shirts; and accessories, such as backpacks, socks and hats."

All retail units are leased, but the most recent Transwestern flyer doesn't reflect this yet.

A new dining tenant is coming soon to the Shops at Arrive Upper Kirby (formerly known as the Kirby Collection).

According to What Now Houston, à restaurant and nightclub/lounge named Se7en is leasing a unit within the retail portion of the development.

Se7en's estimated opening is this fall, possibly late October or November, at 3300 Kirby Dr, Ste B.

A few details from the article:

"An upscale supper club is in the works for the heart of River Oaks in Houston. Se7en, pronounced Seven, will offer a high-end, glamorous ambiance with Asian-inspired cuisine offering French, Mediterranean flavors."

Houston Chronicle published an update on Haii Keii yesterday. The Japanese restaurant is located in Shops at Arrive Upper Kirby at 3300 Kirby Dr, Suite 9A.

More details:

Haii Keii is slated to open this summer at 3300 Kirby from the newly formed Jag Hospitality, created by chef Jeff Auld and Jarred Tosto. The restaurant plans to offer traditional Chinese delicacies (think Peking duck), alongside Japanese sushi and wagyu beef.
